Providing Air Conditioners to Protect Students from the Heat

Every year, rising temperatures in Iraq impair students’ learning environments, frequently worsening existing educational inequities for vulnerable Yazidi children. To respond to the extreme heat, Nadia’s Initiative equipped 7 halls in Sinjar City with 30 high-quality air conditioners to keep over 700 students cool during their exam periods.
